WINE ANALYSIS
Rutherford has a higher radiant value than any other area in Napa because it sits at the widest point in Napa Valley and therefore spends more time in the sun. The extra sunshine combined with the Franciscan marine soil, volcanic deposits, and run off soil from the Mayacamas Mountains gives the wines a powdery tannin texture that adds to the signature “Rutherford Dust” note.
