2020 Vintage
The 2020 season was memorable for many different reasons. The warm, dry winter and mild Spring led to an early bud break with all of us working under the safety restrictions due to the Covid pandemic. The growing season was mild with occasional heat spikes, however the Glass Fire towards the end of September led to reduced yields and limited production. The smaller crop size resulted in some outstanding wines from the vineyards we were able to harvest prior to the fire, and our team expertly managed a myriad of small lot fermentations to ensure each viable lot was allowed to flourish. Careful blending and exclusions resulted in a small yet excellent series of artisan wines sure to impress any collector. A challenging vintage that will continue to weave a fine story as it evolves in the bottle.
