TASTING NOTES
Heavily perfumed on the nose with cranberry, gooseberry, cinnamon, cardamom and black tea notes. The mouthfeel opens with red plum and broadens into silky tannins with a soft lingering finish.
WINE ANALYSIS
Aging: 19 months of barrel aging took place in 93% new French oak.
Alcohol: 14.8%
TA: 5.5gm/L
Winemaking: A combination of gentle pump-overs and delestage at critical intervals balanced extraction of ripe tannins and preservation of fresh fruit flavors. Pressed at dryness with malolactic fermentation completed in barrels.
