VINTAGE NOTES

The infamous "Earthquake Vintage". A 6.0 quake shook Southern Napa on August 24th. The vintage was less chaotic with an early and quick harvest. The drought conditions holding over from 2013 provided smaller berries with great color and tannin structure. This is an excellent vintage that will reward aging for up to 20 years.

WINEMAKING

Winemaker: Mike McGrath

Blend: 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc, 2.5% Malbec, and .05% Petit Verdot

Aging: 18 months in oak (50% New French , 5% New American and 45% Used oak)

Alcohol: 14.5%
