- A long, cool summer season allowed the fruit flavors to evolve beautifully ahead of schedule, and grapes showed outstanding balance.

- Despite the unusual growing season, the 2003 harvest produced a vintage of high quality, great color concentration and intense flavors.
- Sourced from premier Napa Valley vineyards producing the region’s finest Bordeaux varietals:
- Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards: Collins, Stagecoach, and Truchard

- Vineyard lots were vinified and aged separately, and only the best barrels from each lot were selected for the final blend.
- The wine is a blend of 23 separate vineyard lots.
- Barrel aged for 28 months in equal parts new and one-year-old French oak.
- Fining before bottling softened the tannins to produce supple character that Anthology is known for, while maintaining good structure for aging.
- Aged for an additional 12 months in the bottle prior to release.
